Overview

China’s first national forest park

The park sits inside the Wulingyuan Scenic Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992. Its sandstone pillars were cut by water and wind over millions of years, and on most mornings they rise above a sea of cloud.
The park is large and spread across several areas linked by shuttle buses, cable cars and the Bailong Elevator. Seeing it well is about order and timing rather than distance.
