How to visit Tianmen Mountain

Entry and tickets

Timed ticket, passport required. Tianmen Mountain uses timed entry and several route options. Queues for the cable car can be long in peak season, so our guides book the best route for your date.

Opening hours

Roughly 7am to 6pm, varies by season. Arrive early to avoid the longest queues.

Getting around

Cable car, shuttle bus and escalators.

What to bring

Your passport, comfortable shoes, a light rain jacket and water. Walking level: easy to moderate, 999 steps optional.
