Wulingyuan or the city, and why it matters.

Wulingyuan

The town at the main entrance to the National Forest Park. The best base for most trips, because it lets you enter the park early before the crowds.

Closest to Tianmen Mountain, the airport and the railway station. A good choice for your last night or a one-day visit.

For a three-day trip, stay two nights in Wulingyuan and move to the city on the last day. Hotels are included in our multi-day tours.
